Panther bowling beats McClain, falls to Massie

On Monday, Jan. 9, the Miami Trace boys bowling team had a match against McClain and Hillsboro.

Andrew Amore led Miami Trace with a 267 and a 223 game.

Austin Pickens bowled games of 191 and 231; Jackson Perkins had a 208 game and Devan Harmon a 203.

They totaled individual games of 1,011 and 1,014 with baker games of 204, 210 and 161 for a total of 2,620 to McClain’s 2,212 to win the match.

On Wednesday, Jan. 11, Miami Trace bowled an SCOL match against Clinton-Massie.

Austin Pickens led the team with a 236 and a 192 and Andrew Amore had games of 211 and 218.

However, the Panthers fell short, losing to the Falcons, 2,622 to 2,357.

Miami Trace will host Hillsboro Wednesday right after school at LeElla Lanes.
