The Record-Herald has received the following press release from Jon Creamer, Washington High School Athletic Director, regarding next week’s Miami Trace at Washington varsity football game.

The game will be played Saturday, Oct. 29 with a kick-off set for 7:30 p.m. The gates to Gardner Park will open at 5:30 p.m. that evening.

Members of the Washington C.H. Police Department will be on hand to direct the parking of vehicles in McHenry Field.

The Athletic Department encourages fans to carpool, as a large crowd is expected to attend the game.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from Washington High School’s Main Office from Tuesday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 27 each day from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Tickets will also be available for purchase Friday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. until noon. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Student sections may wear costumes, however, masks or items that cover a person’s face will not be allowed to be worn inside Gardner Park.
