Rebuilding the Republican state central committee

0

To Republican voters and independent voters of Pickaway, Fayette, Ross, Highland, Clinton, Pike, Jackson, Gallia, Vinton, and Lawrence counties.

Recently you received a giant postcard endorsing the incumbent members of our 17th Senate District for State Central Committee. These were sent out to all 33 Senate Districts in Ohio. They are suggesting that they are going to balance the federal budget or are going to help you defeat Hillary. That slate card cost the Ohio Republican Party several hundred thousand dollars. This is not the job of the Ohio Central Committee. This is just a way to mislead you into voting for them, who, by the way, endorsed themselves.

Actually, the job of the Central Committee is to do the will of the Republican Voters and the local Central Committees in their senate district. It is a fact that none of the local central committees gave them permission to endorse themselves or our governor for president. I can also report to you that most of our central committees are frustrated that our party has no Republican Platform for our State.

One of the main reasons I am running for this office is to end the above practices as well as fight for a State Republican Platform. It would help if local central committees would denounce these negative practices and say that they didn’t endorse these candidates or the governor, but they can’t or won’t because they are afraid of reprisal from the establishment.

Conservative candidates like myself have been told we can’t use the Republican Logo because we are not approved by them. It should also be noted that present members of the State Central Committee, who don’t vote with the establishment, are having candidates run against them with slate cards paid for by the Republican State Committee. If you go to my website, Jim Rosendahl.for Ohio.com, you can see examples of what I have stated.

I am asking you to help me stop this lunacy. No organization can grow or get better by excluding or bullying and intimidating voters and representatives in our own party. Why not use the hundreds of thousands of dollars against our opponents rather than fellow Republicans. Why doesn’t the establishment want to do the will of the voters?

The job of the state central committee is to find and endorse candidates who will stand up against common core, medicaid expansions, and Obama care, Sanctuary cities, and the abuse of individual rights. They should endorse candidates that will fight for more local control and never use the controlling board against the will of the people.

Please help me and others who want to grow the party of Lincoln, not intimidate or exclude members who don’t agree with the establishment. Our state central committee is broken. Join with me and others as we build a new foundation, a foundation that will support the views and issues of all the voters, not just the establishment.

Jim Rosendahl, Candidate

State Central Committee
