A special thanks to Ryan Arledge and family

0

Ryan Arledge, a student at Miami Trace High School in pursuance of an Eagle Scout degree in the Boy Scouts of America, approached the board of trustees of Perry Township and asked for permission to re-do the kitchen and the hallway in Perry Township Hall.

This was to be done with assistance of his mother and family. The board approved this.

The first project for Ryan was a fundraiser. He sold refreshments and sandwiches at Pettit’s, raising nearly $800. Ryan and associates then painted the kitchen, including the cabinets (first time cabinets were painted in 62 years), and the hallway. He then cleaned out the kitchen cabinets and discarded old broken and useless items.

He then purchased a new refrigerator and new throw rugs, brooms, mops and other cleaning items.

Thank you, thank you
