Fayette Christian School would like to thank all those who had a part in making its 2016 golf tournament a huge success.

A special thanks went to tournament sponsor, McDonald’s of Fayette County and owner Nick Epifano, who has sponsored the tournament for the last seven years. The school also thanked sponsors and those that came to play.

They were able to raise $5,862.94 for the school, the most ever raised. The funds will be used to further the quality education of children and to purchase items that will enhance learning.

Out of 14 teams, the winning team for this year included Jeff Shaw, Steve Higgins, Steve Mowery and Shannon Bartruff.

Organizers said they would like to thank all those who participated in the 2016 Fayette Christian School Golf Tournament. Over the years, they said, they have seen God do wonderful things for Fayette Christian School. Through this generosity, Fayette Christian School will be able to continue to grow young people spiritually and academically.
