Enthusiastic for the work of God

By Dr. John W. Lewis - Religion Writer

Ecclesiastes 9:10, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor devise, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave, whither thou goest.”

In the Bible we are commanded to be zealous of good works, devoting our all to being Christ-like Christians. That is to be filled and possessed by the Spirit of God.

Many who are not Christians in the world have been inspired to write songs, books and to achieve high recognition in their field or profession. Many also have become fanatical about sports and hobbies, showing great enthusiasm.

Now Christian, we need to show such enthusiasm for the work of God. Enthusiasm means God within! Some may think that you are a fanatic and I say that if being a fanatic is to be a fan, then make me one of the biggest fans of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Enthusiasm ——- get it!
