I Corinthians 1:17 & 23, “For Christ sent me not to baptize but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness.”

The world is looking for signs and wisdom to bring them closer to God. But these have failed. Many have stumbled at and thought foolish the gospel of Christ. So why preach Christ crucified? Why preach Christ?

Because He is a Lawyer who has never lost a case. He is a Shepherd who has never lost a sheep. He is a Counselor who has all the answers. He is a Physician who heals all my souls’ diseases. He is a Provider and no one has ever been turned away. He is a Teacher who has all the facts. He is the Saviour and is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him.

So, preach Christ crucified, risen, and coming again!
