7 things to do during the coronavirus pandemic

Seven things to do while we walk through this valley.

1.) Continue to pray for each other and those on the front lines, and for the decision makers.

2.) Control your mind, think right. II Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.”

3.) Count your blessings. Thank God for how He has provided in the past, present, and how He will continue to guide and protect us in the future.

4.) Claim God’s promises. Hebrews 13:5 & 6, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

5.) Consider our responsibility, social distancing but spiritual closeness. (phone, text, email, praying for people, and checking up on folks.)

6.) Continue your work. Work at the nearest task at hand. (study, read your Bible more, start your spring cleaning, talk and play games with your family, etc.)

7.) Choose to BE HAPPY, It’s a choice. John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “

The joy of the Lord is our strength.
