New Holland UMW hold July meeting

The New Holland United Methodist Women held their July 10 meeting at the church.

Ann Thompson, president, welcomed all and gave the devotions. Rev. Brian Dunham gave prayer. The secretary’s report was given by Betsy McFadden. The treasurer’s report was given by Pat Taylor.

A special thank you was given to all who helped with the New Holland Lions Club dinners. The dinners will start again in October.

Cheryl McFadden read an article called “Listen.”

Pat Taylor explained the prayer calendar and missionaries around the world.

United Methodist Churches are having a gathering at Eyman Park on Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. There will be a potluck dinner and evening of music by Cornwell Twins. and Fellowship.

Sponsors are needed for folks going on the Walk to Emaus.

Jill Shipley presented an outstanding program, “In the Hand of the Potter.”

Pastor Brian Dunham closed the meeting with prayer. Refreshments were served by Samantha Dunham.

The Aug. 14 meeting will be held at the church at 7:30 p.m. Samantha Dunham will present the program.
