The New Holland United Methodist Women held their Nov. 13 meeting at the church.

Janet Kirkpatrick gave the devotions, “Prayer of Gratitude and Thanksgiving,” which was followed by prayer.

Ann Thompson, president, opened the meeting by introducing the speaker Becky Miller, district communication director. She shared many things about the District United Methodist Women and the different projects going on.

Betsy McFadden, secretary, gave the report of the October meeting.

The United Methodist Women gave a donation for the church project of providing Christmas gifts for the children ages 5 months to 18 years of age at Red Bird Mission in Kentucky. Contact Jim White for a list of the children and teenagers, and the date the items are needed to be at the church. This has been a project of the church for over 50 years. A special thank you to Jim White and Jim Rowland for delivering the gifts to Red Bird Mission.

A thank you to all members who help with UMW providing dinners for the New Holland Lions Club and other projects of the United Methodist Women.

It was announced that poinsettia for the church will be $13 and if you would like to order one in memory of a loved one, contact Ann Thompson.

The date, time and theme for the next meeting will be announced later.

Refreshments were served by Ann Thompson.
