The American Baptist Women’s Ministries of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church resumed its 2018-2019 year meetings on Sept. 6 in the church Christian Center.

President Pat DeWees called the meeting to order, followed by devotions presented by Shellie Coonrod. Her theme focused on God’s presence in our lives based on the Bible verse, Matthew 18:20.

Martha Carman read the secretary’s report, and Paula Campbell gave the treasurer’s report. A report of the coming year’s missions projects was given by Janie Bentley. She also provided information on future meetings, including dates, hostesses, and Bible books to read for each month. The time for the meetings was set at 6:15 p.m.

Mildred Donohoe presented a study of the assigned Bible chapters, I Kings, Colossians, and II Kings.

Susan Spears and Mrs. Coonrod provided a dessert course to: Ms. DeWees, Karen Rambo, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Carman, Grace Coonrod, Julie Kellough, Mrs. Bentley, Mrs. Donohoe, and Carol Hixson.
