It was announced the church will be serving the dinner for the New Holland Alumni Banquet on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the New Holland Community Center. Contact Pat Taylor or Ann Thompson if you are available to help with this project.

The third-annual Back 2 School Blast will be held Aug. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the New Holland Park. This is a day filled with loads of fun, food and prizes. Bring the kids out to the park for a great time and fellowship.

Samantha Dunham provided the program, “When life give you lemons, make lemonade.” Lemons aren’t just good for adding flavor to recipes, they’re also very useful around the house. Many household uses for lemons are: for health, in the kitchen, outdoors, miscellaneous uses were described, and a pamphlet with items on lemons was passed out.

She passed out pamphlets entitled, “God’s Promises to us, Life Lessons from Lemon Drops of Queen Esther.” She closed the program with prayer.

Pat Taylor read from the Mission’s Prayer Calendar Birthday and Mission, and “Different Promises from God” and “Rehab Construction.”

The Sept. 11 meeting will be held in the home of Jodi Kirkpatrick. Devotions and program will be presented by Kay Oughterson. Refreshments will be provided by Jodi Kirkpatrick.
