The annual Mother-Daughter-Friend Celebration of the New Holland United Methodist Women was held at the church May 9.

All were welcomed by Kay Oughterson. The ladies of the choir sang “Train Up A Child.” Peyton Black read a poem entitled, “Build a Box of Friendship.”

An informative and full-filled program, “The Language of Fans,” was presented by Kay Oughterson. The dining room was beautifully decorated by Teri Kirkpatrick and Pat Overly. Each place setting had a lovely folding hand fan. Peggy Kirkpatrick, Nikki Sheets and Marissa Sheets served delicious refreshments. Door prizes were awarded and all ladies went home with a gift.

An evening of fun (many laughs) and Christian fellowship was enjoyed by all.

The next United Methodist Women’s Meeting will be held at the church June 5 at 2:30 p.m.. Janet Kirkpatrick will have devotions.
