Hospice of Fayette County will hold its third-annual block party at Streetside 62 in Washington C.H. this Saturday.

The event will start at 6 p.m., and Hospice of Fayette County will be at Streetside 62 until midnight in an effort to raise money for the continued care of its patients.

Thanks to sponsorship from table sponsors Halliday Lumber, WCR, East Ambulance, YUSA, Walmart Distribution Center, Morrow Funeral Home; business sponsors Deskins Concrete, EZ Oil Change, Fayette Pharmacy, Parrett Insurance, Trends, 9Rounds, Melvin Stone Company, Carol Halliday Ford Lincoln Inc., Herron Financial Group, Shane McMahan State Farm Insurance, Sunshine Laundry & Dry Cleaning and Showplace Furniture as well as the support of the community coming out to enjoy a wonderful dining experience at Streetside 62, Hospice of Fayette County will be able to continue its mission by never billing a patient or family for end of life care.

“Come out and enjoy an evening of great food and music, all to help support Hospice of Fayette County,” said Holly Cottrill, marketing and fundraising coordinator. “This will be the third block party and Matt Pettit at Streetside 62 donates so much and we greatly appreciate that. We also have some great sponsors that make this party possible and without their support we would not be able to put it on. We appreciate the response from the community, sponsors and all of the residents that support us. They really go above and beyond in helping us out. We hope everyone will come out on Saturday and enjoy the evening while socializing and having fun.”

Johnny Lawless, a popular local band, will take the stage at 7 p.m. and Streetside 62 will donate $1 per drink and $2 per food item to Hospice of Fayette County. Organizers remind the community that there is no cover charge for the event.
