According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 31

Theft of Motor Vehicle: At 3:41 p.m., contact was made with the victim, who advised that within the past two months someone had stolen her vehicle that had been broken down. A report was completed.

Drug Abuse Instrument: At 9:04 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on South North Street. Officers utilized K-9 officer, “Edox,” on a free air sniff and Edox indicated on the vehicle, allowing officers to search the vehicle. The search revealed a drug abuse instrument. Dylan Fowler was charged accordingly.

Aug. 30

Disorderly Conduct/Misuse of Credit Card/Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle: At 12:11 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of East Elm Street in reference to a subject laying in the roadway. Officers located Arthur Johnson laying in the side yard of a residence, highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. Johnson was arrested and transported to the jail. A short time later a vehicle was reported stolen. The victim advised that Johnson had the vehicle and her credit card. Johnson was located near the vehicle and had her credit card in his possession when he was arrested for disorderly conduct.

CPO Violation: At 10:11 a.m., officers made contact with the victim, who advised William Ruth had contacted her several times knowing an active protection order was in place. The defendant was later arrested on several civil protection order violation warrants and was transported to jail.

Criminal Damaging: At 4:56 p.m., contact was made with the victim, who advised damage was done to the side of her residence. A report was completed.
