According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 24

CPO Violation: At 7:08 a.m., officers responded to 1012 Gregg St. in reference to a residential alarm. Upon arrival, officers located William Ruth on the property. After checking Ruth for wants and warrants, officers were advised a civil protection order was in place with the property owner being the victim. Ruth was arrested and transported to jail.

Criminal Damaging: At 10:32 a.m., officers made contact with the victim, who advised that sometime overnight unknown person(s) damaged her driver side mirror on her vehicle. A report was completed.

Theft/Criminal Damaging: At 11:12 a.m., contact was made with the victim, who advised that sometime overnight unknown person(s) had stolen the catalytic converter off her vehicle.
