According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 14

Theft: At 3:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to CVS in reference to a theft. Staff advised that a female concealed a pair of sunglasses, then provided her identification to pick up a prescription, and then departed the store without paying for the sunglasses. A warrant has been clerked for the offender.

Aug. 13

Theft: At 1:15 p.m., officers made contact with the victim who advised unknown person(s) stole his lawn mower. A report was completed.

OVI/Reckless Operation: At 4:24 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop due to the defendant, Neil Luttrell, driving reckless. During the investigation of the traffic stop, it was determined Luttrell was under the influence. Luttrell was subsequently arrested for OVI and reckless operation.

Inducing Panic/Drug Abuse Instrument: At 4:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Temple Street in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Fayette County EMS was on scene. The defendant, Dustin Morris, appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. Morris gave officers consent to search his person. Officers located a drug abuse instrument and veil of suspected narcotics.

Open Container: At 10:07 p.m. while assisting another officer on a traffic stop, an open container of alcohol was located next to the defendant, Roderick Croy. Croy was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for open container.

OVI/Failure to Control/Leaving the Scene: At 11:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Delaware Street and Gregg Street in reference to an intoxicated driver. Upon arrival in the area, officers located the vehicle. Officers made contact with the defendant, Kevin Perry, who was intoxicated. While investigating the incident, it was learned Perry had struck another vehicle and departed.

Aug. 11

Wanted Person: At 11:35 p.m., officers arrested Amber Docter on a failure to appear warrant through the Washington Municipal Court. Docter was transported to the Fayette County Jail to be held.
