Grilling and tool sharpening at the Market

0

So much is happening at the Fayette County Farmers’ Market Saturday. Tom McMurray (of Tom’s Tool Shed) will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. to sharpen your hand and garden tools for a nominal charge.

Elaine Yoder will be grilling and sampling some summer veggies and Creative Court House will be conducting a children’s crafting workshop. They will be creating painted light switch covers. Rachel McClish is back, AND THE DONUT TRUCK IS COMING!

The following list contains the names and products of the vendors that expect to set up for the Saturday Market. The Market is open every Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon and is located in the municipal parking lot on the corner of South Main and East East streets. SNAP EBT food benefit cards and credit/debit cards are accepted. We are offering a new program called veggie SNAPS and it permits those who use a SNAP EBT card for food items to receive matching dollar tokens (one for one) for additional fruits and vegetables! It’s a BOGO for fruit and vegetables, up to $10 every market day! Be sure to ask David about the new veggie SNAPS produce program for SNAP EBT cards.
