In light of the recent news release by the State of Ohio offering the ability to renew driver’s licenses and conduct title transactions through the online portal system, the Fayette County BMV and the Fayette County Title Department wants everyone to know that in-person service will continued to be offered locally.

“Transactions completed in person locally allow transaction fees to stay local in Fayette County,” said Sandy Wilson, Fayette County Clerk of Court/Deputy Registrar. “Over the years Fayette County has been able to use the fees collected in our BMV and Title offices to help finance various projects around the county, such as building rehabilitation at the Economic Opportunity Building and the Court House, and also to help create the upcoming greenspace behind the Court House.

“We appreciate our customers coming to our facility to complete their transactions and be able to continue to serve Fayette County.”
