Altrusa delegates attend 67th District Five Conference

Altrusa of Washington C.H. is one of the 23 clubs in Ohio and part of Michigan that makes up Altrusa’s District Five. The local club elected two delegates to the District Five Conference — shown left to right is Elaine Crutcher and Debra Grover pictured with the club’s gardening basket that brought in the highest bid at the conference silent auction. Auction funds raised went to the Altrusa International Foundation to support International health concerns, disaster relief programs, and grants for clubs’ community service projects. Washington C.H. Altrusan Debra Grover was nominated and elected to serve as the District Five Nominating Committee Chair for 2022-23, only the second Washington C.H. member to hold an office at the district level. Altrusa is an international association of professional women and men who volunteer their energies and expertise to community betterment.
