Strawberries at the Wednesday Farmers Market

New vendors, new products! Among the many items offered for sale today at the Wednesday Fayette County Farmers Market, you will find along with STRAWBERRIES, local ground beef, brats, spring produce, COFFEE, bedding plants, vegetable plants, many homemade baked goods, LOCAL HONEY, crocheted baby essentials and even blueberry bushes.

This venue, in the TSC parking lot on Columbus Avenue in Washington C.H., 3 to 6 p.m., is without any sponsored electronic processing and is therefore a cash-only market. Vendors stating they plan on attending and the items they expect to bring include:

Dill Family Farms (Andy & Paula Dill): strawberries, local honey, and potted blueberry bushes (ready to put in the ground)

Rural Beans Roastery LLC (Kameron Rinehart, Tino Poma): Assorted freshly roasted coffee — beans and ground.

Bridgeview Gardens (Hunter & Lorelle Rohrer): Lettuce, onion sets, perennial and annual bedding plants. Vegetable and herb garden plants.

Hostetter Kitchen (Melody Martin): Strawberries, homemade bread and rolls, whoopie pies, strawberry pie, rhubarb pie, and cinnamon buns.

Jim’s Premium Ground Beef (Jim Hobbs): Premium ground beef in assorted packages (patties, bulk tubes).

Chilcote Farms & Cottage Baked Goods (Marlene Chilcote): Cream cakes (for strawberries), chocolate and white Texas sheet cakes, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter and iced sugar cookies, blueberry buckle, AND local honey.

Lehnert Meats (Bob Lehnert): assorted brats, GREAT for grilling!

Cozy Baby Blessings (Nancy Cutter): baby essentials including hand crocheted baby blankets and hats, flannel receiving blankets and burp cloths, and teething toys. Also beaded pens, crochet dish cloths and pot scrubbers and wax melts (50+ scents).
