According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 28

Criminal Damaging: At 7:18 a.m., Donald Gallion, of Heritage Drive, reported that damage was caused to his vehicle by an unknown person.

Safecracking/Vandalism: At 9:19 a.m., First State Bank reported that its ATM had been tampered with by unknown persons. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft: At 1:06 p.m., Ronald Williams III, of Campbell Street, reported the theft of medication from his residence.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Drugs/Obstructing Official Business: At 6:57 p.m. while on patrol, an officer noticed a male riding a bike acting suspicious. The male then fled, eventually getting off the bike and running on foot. He was stopped a short time later. Drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs were located. Charges were filed.

Theft: At 7:53 p.m., employees of Walmart reported the theft of merchandise. Abagail Matthews, of Columbus Avenue, was arrested in the incident.

Theft: At 9:15 p.m., employees of Walmart reported the theft of merchandise. Veronica Katchmer, of Bloomingburg, and a juvenile were arrested in the incident.
