According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 13

Theft: At 12:35 p.m., Maggie Wiederhold reported that a package was delivered at her residence. After the package was delivered, an unknown person stole the package.

Assault: At 6:08 p.m., a woman reported that the previous day she allowed a known male into her room at the Bluestone Inn, located at 1809 Columbus Ave. While the male was inside the room, an argument ensued. During the argument, the male allegedly struck her. While officers were on the scene, the female had no apparent visible injuries from being assaulted. She was referred to the city solicitor for filing charges.

Jan. 12

Theft: At 7:37 p.m., officers responded to 703 S. Fayette St. on a report of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft complaint. An officer arrived and spoke with the complainant, Mike Hunter. He advised that a known female took his vehicle and has yet to return with it. He also reported that the same female possibly stole a cell phone. A report was taken.
