According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 12

Criminal Trespass/Criminal Damaging: At 10:50 p.m., officers responded to 733 Peddicord Ave. in reference to a suspicious male. The caller also heard glass breaking. Upon arrival, contact was made with Tyler G. Jones, who had been trespassed from the residence. The storm door was also shattered. Jones was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and criminal damaging.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drugs/Trafficking in Drugs: At 1:17 a.m. while on a traffic stop, permission to search was given by the driver of the vehicle, Bobby L. Bennett, of Washington Avenue. While searching the vehicle, suspected drugs, scales and syringes were located. Charges are pending.

Dec. 11

O.V.I.: At 10:43 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash. One vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle in the 1300 block of Delaware Street. Contact was made with the driver, Thaddeus K. Johnson, who exhibited signs of impairment. At the conclusion of standardized field sobriety testing, Johnson was arrested and charged for O.V.I.

Dec. 10

Criminal Trespass: At 5:38 a.m. while on patrol, an officer made contact with Joshua D. Harper and Richard A. Brannon. Both were carrying copper wire, which was suspected of being stolen. The property owner was contacted and requested criminal trespass charges to be filed against the two. Both were subsequently arrested and charged.
