On Wednesday, Dec, 8, Washington Court House City Schools will perform a state-mandated test of the district’s Emergency Operating Procedures with a simulated winter weather power outage.
This power outage will be regulated by the district’s maintenance department and should last for approximately 30 minutes.
Washington High School will be without power from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., while the rest of the district will experience the outage from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Please note that district phones and internet will be inoperable during each of these instances.
This test of our EOP will be conducted with assistance from Fayette County Emergency Management Agency, Washington Court House Police Department, Washington Court House Fire Department, and Fayette County EMS.
