According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 14

Theft: At 4:23 p.m., Angel Blevins reported the theft of a television set from her residence on Commons Drive. Four suspects have been identified.

Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drugs: At 5:26 p.m., officers made contact with Dashon Harris, of East Temple Street, who had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear. While being arrested, Harris admitted to being in possession of a small bag of suspected drugs and two syringes. Charges were filed.

Nov. 13

Trespassing: At 3:42 p.m., officers responded to 641 Peddicord Ave. in reference to a trespassing complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with the resident who advised her ex-boyfriend has been showing up at her residence uninvited. She had previously told the male that he is not welcome at her residence. Officers arrested Joshua Potts for criminal trespassing. During a search incident to the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located on his person. Potts was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nov. 12

Theft: At 1:54 p.m., Nick Jones reported that he had a package delivered to his residence in the 400 block of East East Street. When he went to get the package, he discovered that it had been stolen from his porch.

Theft: At 9:55 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a theft complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with Walmart loss prevention. The loss prevention officer advised that he observed a male switch bar codes. The male then went through the checkout and did not pay for the item he had. The male then departed the store and was stopped by loss prevention. Michael J.A. Queen was arrested and charged with theft.

Nov. 11

911 Hang Up: At 5:27 p.m., officers responded to Bluestone Inn, located at 1809 Columbus Ave., Room 221, in reference to a 911 hang up call. After officers arrived, they discovered that the female caller had been in an argument and her boyfriend locked her out of her room. Officers began to try and speak to the male, and he refused to answer the door. The female caller gave officers permission to enter the room because she was the only person that rented the room. Officers had to get management to open the door. Brett R.E. Tolle was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.

Nov. 10

Theft: At 3:57 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a theft complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with loss prevention. The loss prevention officer advised that an unknown male opened a box and removed the merchandise. The male then departed the store without paying for the merchandise.

Assault: At 4:05 p.m., officers responded to 628 Eastern Ave. in reference to an assault complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim. The victim reported that a known female assaulted her and the victim had visible injuries. Ashley Shepherd was arrested and charged with assault.

Nov. 9

Violation of Protection Order: At 6:10 p.m., a man reported that his ex-girlfriend who he has a protection order against violated the order. The man found a Facebook posting between his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend. In the posting, she references the the man. At no time did his ex-girlfriend attempt to contact the man. The posting he reported a violation on was a conversation between two people. The man was referred to the city solicitor.

Suspicious Person: At 10:41 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of South Main Street in reference to a male laying on a front porch. Officers arrived and located the male. The male was under the influence of drugs and was subsequently arrested. William Z. Wolfe was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
