According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 6

Criminal Damaging: At 12:47 a.m., Jeffrey Brown reported that he discovered an unknown person spray painted his garage. He checked his video surveillance and observed the subject causing damage to his garage. The video was provided to the police department and charges are pending until the subject is identified.

Theft: At 3:53 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a theft complaint. An officer arrived at Walmart and spoke with loss prevention. Loss prevention advised that a male had concealed merchandise on his person and then departed the store without paying for the merchandise. Ralph J. Taylor II was arrested and charged with theft.

Nov. 5

Theft: At 12:10 p.m., William Phillips reported that his vehicle was parked in the 700 block of South North Street. He stated that sometime over the past weekend an unknown person stole his catalytic converter from the vehicle.

Nov. 3

Trespassing: At 11:32 a.m., officers responded to 614 Village Court in reference to a male trespassing on the property. The male had previously been told my management and police that he is not allowed on the property of Village Court. While officers were en-route, dispatch informed officers that the male had active warrants for his arrest for failing to appear and failing to comply with terms of probation. Officers located the male and advised him of the warrants and that he was trespassing. The male was advised he was under arrest and officers attempted to take the male into custody. During the arrest, the male tried to pull away from officers several times. Skylar Lyons was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing, failing to appear bench warrant, and failing to comply with probation bench warrant.
