According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 26

Telecommunications Harassment: At 5:08 p.m., a woman reported that she was being harassed via social media posts and emails. A report was completed and charges are pending.

Assault/Possession of Drugs: At 6:52 p.m., officers responded to Rose Avenue in reference to an assault. Contact was made with a Forest Street resident who stated that Randy Kuhn had struck her with a baseball bat. Kuhn was arrested for assault and an outstanding warrant. While being taken into custody, a small bottle of suspected drugs was located.

Theft: At 1:49 a.m., Timothy Butcher, of Eastview Road, reported the theft of his cell phone, possibly while he was at Winkin Willys Bar.

Suspicious Vehicle/Stolen Vehicle: At 1:42 a.m. while on patrol, an officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Columbus Avenue at Glenn Avenue. The officer attempted to contact the occupants in the vehicle, however the vehicle was parked at the Dean Apartments, and the occupants fled on foot. Both occupants were located and detained. During the investigation, officers discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from the 400 block of Spring Avenue. Timothy Wiseman III was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.

Sept. 25

Criminal Damaging: At 3 p.m., officers responded to Burning Bush Community Church, located at 1217 Forest St., in reference to the church. After officers arrived, it was discovered that within the past few days, someone threw a rock through a window.

Sept. 24

Theft: At 7:54 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a theft complaint. After officers arrived, Walmart loss prevention advised that two subjects were concealing merchandise and then departed the store without paying for the merchandise. Christopher Mccall and Rachel Reid were arrested and charged with theft.
