According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 27

Wanted Person/Obstructing Official Business: At 2:42 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Pin Oak Plaza in reference to a wanted person allegedly kicking open a door to a residence. Officers arrived in the area and located the wanted person fleeing the area on foot. Officers gave chase and gave several warnings for the male to stop that he did not follow. Michael Lamberson was apprehended after a short foot chase and charged with obstructing official business, along with the warrant for his arrest.

Aug. 26

Theft: At 8:16 a.m., Brent Cupp reported a license plate had been stolen from his vehicle.

Assault: At 2:54 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of a fight in the 600 block of Rawling Street. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with several witnesses. Lonnie Terry was subsequently arrested for assault.

Aug. 25

Criminal Damaging: At 2:19 p.m., Amanda Bellar reported that within the past few days an unknown person caused damage to her vehicle.

Theft: At 4:25 p.m., an employee of Woda reported that while checking a house the company owns, he discovered the outdoor air conditioner/heat pump had been stolen.

Aug. 23

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: At 9:54 a.m. while on patrol, officers made contact with Destiney Daniels, of Stafford Road. Daniels had active warrants for her arrest. While being arrested, two syringes commonly used to ingest drugs were located in a purse belonging to Daniels.

Theft: At 4:20 p.m., Walmart loss prevention employees reported the theft of several items from the store. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
