According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 22

Traffic Stop: At 2:10 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver refused to identify himself or provide any information. The driver was arrested for obstructing official business. During the arrest the male resisted the lawful arrest. After the male was arrested and officers were able to identify him it was discovered that he was driving under an OVI suspension. Thomas Turner was charged with driving under an OVI suspension, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

Aug. 21

Disturbance: At 5:07 p.m., officers responded to 511 E. Temple St. in reference to a disturbance complaint. Officers arrived and spoke with the person causing the disturbance. While speaking with officers the male continued his disorderly behavior and was warned to cease and desist his behavior. The male continued the behavior and was arrested. Timothy Bart was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Aug. 20

Theft: At 11:15 a.m., Sandra Thurman reported that her debit card came up missing and she later located the debit card. After checking her bank account, she discovered that there had been unauthorized transactions on her account. A report was taken.

Traffic Stop: At 9:31 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. During the stop a passenger was found to be very intoxicated while being belligerent and yelling obscenities. The passenger was warned to cease and desist his behavior and failed to do so. Tylan Baker was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct. While Baker was being transported to the jail, he made threats toward the arresting officer. After arriving at the jail, he refused to follow lawful orders and was additionally charged with obstructing official business. Baker was charged with disorderly conduct, menacing and obstructing official business.
