MTHS Class of ‘66 to celebrate ‘Fifty-Five Years Strong’

“Fifty-Five Years Strong” will be celebrated by the Miami Trace High School Class of 1966 during its 55th class reunion to be held the weekend of Sept. 24-25.

The celebration will begin Friday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. when class members and guests will gather at the Miami Trace High School football stadium to attend the annual homecoming game and festivities. The class will be recognized at halftime during the game. Following the game, a time of informal socializing and “remembering the 60’s” will be held at Paul H. Hughey Post #25 of the American Legion, 1240 U.S. Route 22-NW, Washington Court House.

Class members and guests are invited to continue the celebration at the American Legion on Saturday, Sept. 25. A social time will be held from 4-6 p.m. Bring a favorite memory to share. A burger buffet and salad bar, with all the trimmings, will begin at 6 p.m. Coffee, tea and lemonade are included in the $15 price of the meal. A cash bar will also be available. Let us know your favorite 60’s songs and they will be added to a playlist to be played in the background during the reunion.
