According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 15

Theft: At 12:09 a.m., Murvin Trenner advised that he was transporting a known female to a location on Clemson Plaza. After dropping the female off on Clemson Plaza, Trenner discovered that a prescription medication had been taken from his vehicle. A report was taken.

Violation of Protection Order: At 3:50 p.m., officers responded to 1117 S. Elm St. in reference to a possible domestic violence call. Officers arrived on scene and identified the persons involved in the domestic dispute. During the investigation, it was discovered that an active protection order was in place prohibiting the male, Seth Wical, from being around the protected person. Wical was arrested and charged with violating a protection order.

July 14

Theft: At 7:48 a.m., Charles Meyer reported that he was passing through on July 10 and stopped at Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave. Meyer stated that while at Walmart, a firearm was stolen from his vehicle. A report was taken.

Theft: At 6:18 p.m., Walmart loss prevention reported that a known female was detained by loss prevention for shoplifting. While the loss prevention officer was completing paperwork, the female fled. A report was taken and charges are pending.

Telephone Harassment: At 6:45 p.m., Kristi Daulton reported that she is receiving harassing phone calls from a possible known female. A report was taken and the officer attempted to contact the female involved.

Vehicle Theft: At 11:59 p.m., Charolette Meeks reported that her 2002 Toyota Corolla had been stolen from her driveway. A report was taken.
