According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

June 28

Theft/Obstructing Official Business: At 10:04 a.m., Steven A. Walker, of John Street, was arrested after he departed Pettit’s on Court Street without paying for a bottle of vodka. Walker then fled from the store and was later apprehended.

Identity Fraud: At 3:14 p.m., Mallorie D. Garrett, of Linden Avenue, reported the theft of her identity. The unknown offenders obtained two personal loans with Garrett’s personal information.

Theft: At 6:50 p.m., employees of Walmart reported that an unknown male departed the store without paying for a pair of sunglasses.

Theft/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: At 7:52 p.m., employees of Walmart reported the theft of items from the store by a female. The female gave the items back and departed the store, and was located in the McDonald’s parking lot. The female, identified as Amber M. Ridener, of Delaware Street, allowed officers to check her purse. Inside the purse, officers located five uncapped syringes commonly used to ingest drugs.
