According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

June 16

Criminal Damaging: At 4:32 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Gardner Court in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. The victim advised unknown person(s) had busted her window. A report was completed.

Receiving Stolen Property/Obstructing: At 4:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lewis Street in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon contact with the victim, she was able to track the vehicle on her phone. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and upon contact, the driver, Andrew Johnson, fled on foot from officers. Johnson was arrested later on outstanding warrants.

Criminal Damaging/Theft: At 6:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Second Street in reference to a criminal damaging and theft complaint. Upon arrival, the victim advised unknown person(s) had busted her window and stole her purse with items inside. A report was completed.

Theft: At 9:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to Ace Hardware in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers were able to identify the suspect and a warrant was clerked for theft.

Theft: At 4:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Clinton Avenue in reference to a theft. The victim advised that unknown person(s) had stolen fishing poles that were laying next to his garage. A report was completed.

Theft: At 5:54 p.m., officers responded to Kroger in reference to a theft. Loss Prevention advised the suspect departed without paying for a 24-pack of Mountain Dew. A report was completed.
