According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

June 9

Violation of Protection Order: At 1:01 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Forest Street in reference to a violation of a protection order. Contact was made with the victim, who advised that she received third party information that the possible offender was violating the protection order. A report was taken and the victim was referred to the city solicitor.

June 8

Identity Fraud: At 9:33 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Ely Street in reference to an identity fraud complaint. The victim advised unknown person(s) opened a bank account in her name and purchased items.

Wanted Person: At 11:33 a.m., officers responded to the area of Creek Road in reference to an ODNR officer having contact with Andrew Thorton, who had an outstanding bench warrant. Thorton was arrested and transported to the jail.

Menacing: At 11:36 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of North North Street in reference to a menacing complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, who alleged he was threatened. A report was taken and the victim was referred to the city solicitor.
