Lucky Leaf Livestock 4-H club holds meeting

Lucky Leaf Livestock 4-H Club held its fifth meeting on April 24 at the Madison Township Hall.

Members discussed the upcoming tag-in day at the Fayette County Fairgrounds. Tag-in will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 7. Kate Hicks, 4-H Club treasurer, reported that the club made a profit of $440 from the Lamb Power Sale food booth.

President Morgan Miller announced that members who are interested in designing a club t-shirt should turn in their designs at the next meeting. Kate Hicks, club treasurer, gave a demonstration on how to make a bank deposit.

Members also discussed 4-H day at the Reds game on May 21 at 1 p.m. At the end of the meeting, members participated in a trivia game which involved questions about upcoming dates and events. Refreshments were provided at the meeting from leftover chips and drinks from the Lamb Power Sale.

The next meeting will be held May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Madison Township Hall.
