The Miami Trace Academic Boosters Club held its annual honors recognition ceremony on Monday.
The evening consisted of recognizing students who have excelled academically over the past school year. First to be honored were the Top Academic Improvement Recipients, those who have raised their G.P.A. by at least .40.
The top 10 students in each class were then recognized with plaques and 10 $500 scholarships were awarded. During the ceremony, Carol Waddle was recognized for going above and beyond to help the efforts of the club by auditing the club’s records for the past seven years. Also during the recognition ceremony, the top 10 seniors took time to recognize a teacher that has had a great impact on them during their time at Miami Trace High School.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the cafeteria for refreshments. The following students were honored in the respective categories:
