According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 10

Wanted Person/Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 1:09 a.m., officers responded to Long John Silver’s in reference to an alarm drop. While officers were arriving, they observed Mark Warner in the parking lot on a bicycle. Warner had a warrant through the Ross County Sheriff’s Office. Warner was arrested on the warrant. During a search incident to the arrest, officers located suspected narcotics and paraphernalia inside Warner’s property.

April 9

Stolen Car: At 6:50 a.m., officers responded to East Elm Street in reference to a theft of a truck, trailer and zero turn mower. The theft is under investigation.

Theft: At 10:28 a.m., officers responded to Ely Street in reference to a theft of a firearm from a motor vehicle. The theft is under investigation.

Theft: At 12:29 p.m., Rent To Own came to the police department in reference to items they had leased being located at Cashland. A report was taken.

Theft: At 2:25 p.m., Alpha Combs came to the police department in reference to a theft of her billfold. A report for theft was taken.

Theft/Possession of Drugs: At 3:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to CVS in reference to a theft. While officers were enroute, they were advised the suspect, later identified as Randy Pollock, had ran toward the Bluestone Inn. Officers made contact with Pollock, who was in possession of stolen merchandise. Officers also located suspected narcotics that Pollock dropped.

Disorderly Conduct: At 9:19 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 400 block of Highland Avenue in reference to a verbal domestic. Upon arrival, officers located Robert Penwell, who was previously given a disorderly conduct warning. Penwell was arrested for disorderly conduct. While officers were arresting Robert, Jewell Penwell became disorderly and was advised to cease her actions. Jewell failed to do so and was also arrested.

April 8

Domestic Violence: At 4:01 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Clinton Avenue in reference to an active domestic. Upon arrival, contact was made with Alexis Streitenberger and James Sutton. Both made verbal claims of domestic violence and both showed injuries. Both Streitenberger and Sutton were arrested.
