A fifth grade Miami Trace Elementary School student — Emily Parsley — recently won a creative drawing billboard contest hosted by the Ross, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette (RPHF) Solid Waste District for all fifth graders in the four-county district. The winning billboards (one per county) will be displayed during this month in observance of Earth Day which is on April 22. Parsley’s billboard is located on US 22 W and east of Old Route 35.
