According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 6

Larceny: At 6:20 p.m., Ethan Ash came to the police department in reference to a theft. Ash advised that unknown person(s) had stolen a firearm from his residence. A report for theft was completed.

April 5

Theft: At 11:13 a.m., Barbara Everhart, of South North Street, reported the theft of a concrete goose from her porch.

Assault: At 3:13 p.m., a woman reported that she was assaulted by a known offender. The victim was referred to the city solicitor for the filing of charges.

Theft/Receiving Stolen Property: At 5:35 p.m., Matthew Bain, of East Temple Street, reported that his vehicle had been stolen. The officer speaking with Bain had responded to a crash earlier in the day involving the same vehicle, and was able to determine that the driver, Scott Frump, had taken the car from Bain without his permission. Charges are pending.

April 4

Disorderly Conduct/Obstructing Official Business/Resisting Arrest: At 9:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Court Street and North Street in reference to a male yelling obscenities at passing cars. Officers attempted to speak with the male and advised him to calm down. The male, identified as Ronald Leach, of South North Street, then took a fighting “karate” stance and refused to follow commands. He was then arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest.
