Main Street Fayette (MSF) is hosting an “April Bunny Hop” Shop Hop this Friday in downtown Washington Court House.

The event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at participating businesses. Participating businesses will have a 2021 MSF decal in-store.

McKenna Brown, president of MSF, wrote via email, “join us in downtown Washington Court House for an EGG-STRA special shopping experience!”

As per normal for MSF Shop Hops, which are typically held monthly, there will be a giveaway that patrons can enter. The winner will receive an Easter basket filled with “local goodies.”

According to Brown, to enter the giveaway shop at an MSF member business, stop by the MSF banner located at the City Administration building (105 N. Main St.), take a selfie or picture of the purchase with the banner, and scan the QR code at the bottom of the banner with a cellphone to have the photo emailed to [email protected] (or simply email the photo to that email address).

New this year for Main Street Fayette is the 2021 MSF Board. Acting as president is McKenna Brown ([email protected]), acting as vice president is Erin Rickman ([email protected]), acting as secretary is Anne Quinn ([email protected]), and acting as treasurer is Vanessa Blevins ([email protected]). Board members include Andrea Gayheart, Kathy Patterson, Mark Wilson, Ryan McClish and Sierra Chambers.

“We started renewing memberships — membership year term is March ‘21-March ’22,” wrote Brown. “I have been advertising and opening the membership to new business in Washington Court House. Our membership and vendor app have an option for everyone and can be found/downloaded on our website, www.mainstreetfayette.com/.”
