Teen Talent Show winners announced

The singing duo of Hailey Hartshorn and Maria Pickerill of Washington High School won first place in the 49th Washington Kiwanis Club Teen Talent Show held Friday night at the historic Washington Middle School auditorium. Hartshorn and Pickerill are pictured with Kiwanis Club Teen Talent Show Chairman Brian Kelley as they received their cash prize for first place. They sang “Some Things Are Meant To Be” in the talent show. Second place went to dancer Ethan Marting of Washington High School, third place and Fan Favorite was the rock group Derailed, Caleb Noble, Nick Funari and Jake Walters from Washington High School, and fourth place went to Anna Grace Wilson, singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” All the winners received cash prizes. Nearly 20 acts from Washington High School and Miami Trace competed in the talent show. Master of Ceremonies at the event was Harry Wright.
