According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 13

Drugs: During a traffic stop for a registration violation, a vehicle occupant was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was subsequently taken into custody and charged for the offense.

Theft: An employee of Game Stop advised that an unknown female came into the business and removed merchandise without paying. A report for theft (first-degree misdemeanor) was taken.

Identity Fraud: Tracy Barnhart reported that unknown person(s) had obtained her personal information and attempted to gain unemployment benefits. A report for identity fraud was taken.

Jan. 11

Theft: At 12:19 p.m., Shannon Hunt reported that several vehicle parts had been stolen from a residence at 252 Henkle St. A report was taken.

Theft: At 3:54 p.m., Carla Elliott reported that she had ordered several items online and mistakenly shipped them to 413 E. Market St. The packages were delivered, and an officer contacted the resident, who advised he had not seen the packages. A report was taken.
