According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 28

Possession of Drugs/Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 12:43 a.m., officers observed Jamie L. Johnson trespassing at Fayette Landing. Johnson had outstanding warrants through the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and was subsequently arrested. During a search incident to the arrest, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were located. The drug charges are pending.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instrument/Obstructing Official Business: Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. While in contact with the occupants, they gave false information. The police K-9 officer was utilized and indicated that narcotics were in the vehicle at some point. During a search of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was located. Both Robert McKinney and Stanley Minzler were arrested and charged.

Criminal Trespassing: At 8:15 p.m., officers observed Samuel Higman on the lot of Pettits BP. Higman has been banned from the business multiple times, including being arrested for trespassing at the business. Higman was once again arrested and charged.

Telecommunications Harassment: At 11:26 p.m., a woman reported a telecommunication harassment complaint. She advised that Michael Shoemaker had been sending her unwanted text messages and would not stop. Officers contacted Shoemaker and advised him to cease. A report was completed.
