According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 27

Domestic Violence: At 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with Nicholas Hatfield and Elyza Jakob, who both made voluntary claims of domestic against each other. Both Hatfield and Jakob were arrested and charged. Additional charges were filed.

Motor Vehicle Theft: At 11:27 a.m., Margie Chapman reported a motor vehicle theft. She advised that sometime overnight, unknown persons stole the vehicle she was renting. She advised that the keys were most likely in the vehicle when it was stolen. A report was completed.

Receiving Stolen Property: At 3:59 p.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a disturbance. Contact was made with Miranda Tackett and another female involved in the disturbance. Both advised they were arguing over drugs and they stole property from Walmart in Xenia to buy drugs. Tackett was in possession of the stolen property from Walmart, and was subsequently arrested and charged.

Motor Vehicle Theft: At 5:24 p.m., Michele Sandlin reported a motor vehicle theft. She advised that sometime over the prior 24 hours, unknown persons stole her deceased father’s vehicle from behind the residence. A report was completed.

Oct. 26

Theft: At 7:21 p.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to a theft. Loss prevention reported that an unknown male and female stole two large televisions by placing them into a cart and departing the store without paying.
