The Ohio FFA Convention will be held on May 5 and 6 at the State Fairgrounds in Columbus. This year will mark the 88th convention to be held. Over 7,000 members and guests are estimated to participate in general sessions.

FFA members from across the state will be there to showcase their accomplishments and celebrate their achievements. The Miami Trace FFA has the honor to send seven students who were selected to participate in State FFA Band and Choir at this convention.

After applications were reviewed, the following students were selected to represent Miami Trace FFA, a satellite program of Great Oaks Career Campuses, in the Ohio FFA Band: Charley Milstead, tenor sax; Blake Bradshaw, trumpet; Quinton Waits, tuba; and Chloe Lambert, percussion.

Abbi Pettit, Khenadi Grubb, and Meri Grace Carson were also selected to participate in the Ohio FFA Choir. These members will travel to Columbus on May 6 and play for a large crowd during the fifth Session of the Ohio FFA convention. Congratulations and good luck to the selected members.
