According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 19

Assault/Criminal Damaging: At 4:17 a.m., a man reported an assault complaint. He advised that Cody Fadely assaulted him and damaged the windshield of his vehicle. A report was completed, but the complainant did not follow up to file charges.

Motor Vehicle Theft: At 6:58 a.m., Leanndra Jones reported a motor vehicle theft. She advised that her vehicle was parked behind her residence with the keys in the vehicle along with her wallet when it was stolen. Her credit card was used in Xenia and the vehicle was located by the Xenia Police Department. Multiple occupants were located in the vehicle and charged by their agency. The vehicle was returned to Jones.

Domestic Violence by Threats: At 10:57 a.m., a woman reported a domestic violence complaint. She advised that the father to her child, Donald Bennett, made threats of harm to her and himself. This was reported a day after the incident and the woman only requested a report be filed.

Theft: At 3:25 p.m., Charles Routzohn reported a theft complaint. He advised that sometime since Aug. 8, unknown persons stole a firearm from his residence. There was no forced entry and a theft report was completed.

Possession of Drugs: At 7:18 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle due to the driver, Corey Keller, not having a license. Keller had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was arrested. During a search incident to the arrest, narcotics were located on his person. The drug charges are pending.
