According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 12

O.V.I./Possession of Drugs: At 12:21 a.m., an officer performed a traffic stop with a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as John Howard II, who was under the influence. He was arrested for O.V.I., at which time suspected narcotics were located on his person. The drug charges are pending.

Theft: At 4:15 p.m., Jerrod Bartruff reported a theft offense. He advised that a package that was delivered to his residence was stolen from the porch. A theft report was completed.

Telecommunication Harassment: At 7:21 p.m., a woman reported a harassment complaint. She advised that James Frisbie has continually sent her unwanted letters and social media messages. Frisbie was previously advised to cease all contact with the woman by police and failed to do so. Frisbie was charged.

Burglary/Criminal Damaging: At 10:29 p.m., Destiny Clouser reported a burglary. She advised that unknown persons broke the latch on a window to her residence to gain entry. Once inside, the offender stole food and hygiene products. She believed the offender to be an acquaintance. A report was completed.

March 11

Domestic Violence: At 1:27 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Officers made contact with a man who advised that he was assaulted by his wife, Ashlea Lawhorn. The victim had visible signs of being assaulted, and Lawhorn was arrested and charged.

Theft: At 10:45 a.m., Ricky Bobbitt reported a theft complaint. He advised that he left his wallet at the Murphy gas station the day prior. The wallet was turned in to the clerk, but his money was stolen. A report was completed.

Domestic Violence/Unlawful Restraint: At 1:05 p.m., a woman reported a domestic violence complaint. She advised that since Feb. 21, Joshua Justice has kept her at his house and would not allow her to leave. She also alleged that Justice assaulted her while at the residence. Justice was arrested and charged accordingly.

March 9

Aggravated Menacing: At 12:55 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a disturbance/unwanted guest. Two people advised that Jimmy Holstein threatened them with a knife. Forced entry was made and Holstein was arrested and charged.

Criminal Damaging: At 7:17 a.m., Christopher Landenberg reported a criminal damaging complaint. He advised that sometime overnight, unknown persons spray painted and keyed his grandmother’s vehicle. A report was completed.

Criminal Damaging: At 1:35 p.m., Richard Dawson II reported a criminal damaging complaint. He advised that sometime overnight, unknown persons spray painted the side of his residence. A report was completed.
