The Angels Awaiting Maternity Home has found a property in Wilmington to be used to house single, pregnant, homeless women for a period of one year or less to account for help while they are pregnant and three months after the child is born.
This journey has been rewarding in that we have met and found so many wonderful donors along the way. We appreciate what you have done, and sincerely hope that you will continue to support us as we open our first Angel House.
We are now accepting new and gently used items for the home. We also need donations of money to help with the rent, utilities, food and daily needs for our residents.
We are also accepting volunteers to staff our Angel House. You can receive a form by calling (740) 335-4540 and leaving a message, sending a request to: P.O. Box 134, Washington C.H., Ohio, 43160, or emailing us at [email protected]. We will mail you a form, and you can fill it out and mail it back to us, and we will review it, and if we feel that you would be a good fit for us, we will call and set up an interview with you. We need lots of people to staff our Angel House and if you feel this is a cause that you would like to volunteer for, please let us hear from you. If we feel you would be a good fit for us, there will be background checks, and in-house training for you.

NEW: Towels, wash cloths, hand towels, bath ropes, twin mattresses, blankets, twin sheet sets, pots and pans, microwave, toaster/toaster over, women’s toiletries/makeup/skincare/shampoo.
NEW/GENTLY USED: Twin bed frames, night stands, small chest of drawers, table cloths, lamps, easy chairs, dishes/bakewear, kitchen towels, clothes, card tables, folding chairs.
