11 arrested on drug indictments

Eleven individuals were arrested on drug-related indictments over the weekend as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. #23 Major Crimes Task Force.

According to Sheriff Vernon Stanforth, detectives and task force agents began serving the indictments on Friday in the late afternoon hours and continued through the weekend in an attempt to locate all of the individuals indicted by a Fayette County grand jury. Ten individuals were subsequently taken to the Fayette County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

While serving an indictment at 94 Jamison Road, Lot 100, detectives reportedly located and seized substances presumptively identified as heroin and crack cocaine inside the residence.

As of Wednesday, the following people have been located and arrested:

– Sloan Nichols, 24, of Washington C.H., trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine;

– Jacqueline Bloomfield, 44, Bloomingburg, trafficking in counterfeit controlled substance, promoting and encouraging drug abuse, trafficking in heroin;

– Burl Brown, 43, of Chillicothe, trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine;

– Heather Holloway, 35, at large, two counts of trafficking in cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine, trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin;

– Frandral Kelley, 44, at large, three counts of trafficking in cocaine, three counts of possession of cocaine, trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin. Two additional warrants for trafficking in drugs were also served to Kelley.

– Moriah Leisure, 22, Washington C.H., trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin;

– Jerome Pettiford, 21, Washington C.H., three counts of trafficking in heroin, three counts of possession of heroin;

– Brent Betts, 37, Circleville, three counts of trafficking in heroin, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, possession of heroin, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, two counts of possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to comply;

– Brandon Russell, 22, of Washington C.H., trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, tampering with evidence;

– Lance Harris, 35, Washington C.H., trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine.

One of the indictments was issued as a summons to Samantha Owens, 22, at large, for possession of heroin. She is scheduled for arraignment on July 20 to answer to that charge.
